One of the darkest colouring weeping Japanese maples, Acer palmatum disssectum ‘Inaba-Shidare’ has an upright shape and purple-red lace-like leaves which changes to bright crimson in autumn. With a final height and spread between 2-3m, this huge shrub is grown on a half-standard, clear stem. Likewise, it can endure both full sun and shade.
Care Description:
Perfect focal point in a small garden, Acer palmatum ‘Inaba-shidare’ can also be grown in pot.To keep the roots of your Inaba Shidare Japanese maple moist, spread 3 inches of mulch around the base of the tree. Additionally, avoid letting any leftover water splash up on the leaves to prevent disease.
